It's been quite a while since I've done web check-in for an MH flight but I just did it and was wondering whether anyone else had similar problems. Web check-in opens 48 hours prior to departure. I was able to check in for the first flight but not the connecting (domestic) flight even though they are both on the same PNR! I'm assuming that web check-in for that domestic flight will only open 48 hours prior to departure. If all flights are on the same PNR, one should be able to check in for all flights! Another IT fail from MH!!

Same thing happened to me last month, I could check in for the first segment, BNE to KUL at the 48 hour mark but had to wait until the next day to check in for the KUL - LHR segment.

Yep thats my experience too, has to be 48hrs before *each* flight not the entire booking.

Also be careful with the web check-in. I've had it happen that for whatever reason the check-in proceeds and then hangs, and if you re-enter you lose the option to select seats again. In other words I think you get only one crack at selecting seats, and if your check-in crashes or hangs, you may well miss out.

Luckily, that didn't happen to me and I was able to snare row 11, so I'll be able to provide feedback on the extra legroom that comes with this seat on the A330-300.
