Hello all,

I have been looking for some rolling luggage... i have seen some cases that look like the plastic bins you can buy in bunnings with a lid, and wheels and a handle, real heavy duty cases, and waterproof.

Any ideas who would make it ?
The one's i have seen recently are translucent plastic and yellow plastic fasteners.

Light yet very durable is what i am after.

Cheers, Evan

I know Pelican make some carry on wheeled solid cases. Eg:

Pelican™ Products 1510 Carry On Case

But I think that's overkill for what you want (in size, cost and weight).

Samsonite does make a hardshell carry-on as well, but I don't think that would be waterproof (but would be very resistant). It's also around the 5/6Kg mark empty.

I havn't really seen solid carry-on luggage in the marketplace. I'm sure someone makes something light, cheap and perfect for your needs.

Samsonite make any number of cases in fact I have samsonite (supplied out of USA) with test equipment - heavy duty near unbreakable stuff. I believe (am not sure) that they will make to order on single runs.

The best people to contact would obviously be Samsonite, I personally buy my luggage from Bon Voyage in Springvale Road, (nunawading) Melbourne - most of my luggage is Samsonite and this company not only has good priced luggage, they seem to know what they are talking about - wow, after that plug, I hope I get an extra 25% off my next buy!

Good luck
