Hi everyone,
I am travelling from Nz to Brisbane with a stop over before I travel on to Melbourne. I am really wanting to try some delicious krispy kreme donuts in Brisbane airport as I won’t have time in Melbourne. Am I allowed to purchase a box of say 4 donuts and then take them with me to Melbourne to have once I arrive at my accomodation?
feedback appreciated, thanks

Once you clear customs in Brisbane, transporting doughnuts domestically eg to Melbourne isn’t an issue. Can’t imagine it would take too long to buy them from the KK stores at either the VA or QF terminals in Melbourne though.

Youre not the first person that taken a box of KK onboard.

By memory theres a KK at Melbourne airport but we were flying VA.
That’s good to know!
I would rather get some in Brisbane seeing we will have a stop over and have to fill in time, but once i get to Melbourne I have a driver picking me up so it’s better to get some earlier in the day. And i might just get snackish on the plane
Thanks

Years ago, when KK first opened at SYD QF domestic and before there was an outlet in Melbourne, every third person seemed to be carrying a box, and usually a dozen not just 4.

Now there are 3 outlets at MEL

Melbourne is a bit donut mad these days there are lots of other options all over the CBD that you may want to try. So maybe grab fewer KKs at BNE and leave some room to try:

I have a soft spot for Short stop way better than KrispyKreme imo.

Awesome wow thanks! I will be sure to put these on my list to try

All good to take on board in Oz int-domestic transit. Beware of fellow AFF'ers sniffing them out on board.
We just got our first Krispy Kreme in Yangon, Myanmar recently. Until then, it was a regular sight to see pax on Bangkok to Yangon flights bringing huge amounts of them hahaha.

Whenever anyone walks past me boarding I say KRISPY KREME in a creepy low long voice and make like I am going to steal them all. But that's just me

The KK monster. Head to one side, tongue hanging out, drool dribbling to the floor, hunched over, limping on one bad leg......yes i've seen you:Do_O

And just for coordinates, I got lost when the Brisbane KK stall disappeared from QF terminal gate 25. I can be found at the VA end of the domestic terminal. It had been handy earlier to pick up donuts for the offspring on arrival, now it involves extra walking...

Thank you for that
