VS lounge access for VA gold

I am a VA gold flying HKG<> LHR on Virgin Atlantic in PE in a few weeks time. Can anyone confirm my understanding of lounge access?

My take is that:
  • PE doesn't get lounge access on VS
  • As the VS HKG lounge is a 3rd party lounge there is no VA access
  • I should be able to get access to a Plaza Premium lounge with the complimentary Priority Pass card that came with my credit card
  • However I will get access to the VS lounge at Heathrow as a VA gold
Does this all sound right?
 
VA website shows no access to plaza premium lounge when travelling on VS as a gold member.

If you have a complementary pass then I would assume you’ll be fine to get in. Otherwise the lounges there you can pay for a 1 day pass but you’ll get access to the main area. From what I’ve read, VS have their own area within the plaza premium lounge.

Make sure you allow time to enjoy the VS LHR lounge. It’s a cracker!!

I just completed that same trip! Booked myself the VS RTW in PE the Dreamliner is superb absolutely loved it.

Onto your question, that's correct you don't get lounge access in HKG so use your priority pass to get in, it's pretty average but nicer than waiting in the food court. Make sure to show them your VS boarding pass and they will let you into the airline section of the lounge which has some more seating.

You get access to the Virgin Lounge in LHR and its superb, just show them your card and you're in, it's fantastic.
