After some clarification about credit vouchers ....

1. If I have a voucher from cancelling a flight can I use that towards a [J]ASA? I think I read someone you can't but not sure/can't find it...

2. Is it possible to use multiple vouchers for a single flight? ie if I have a $200 credit voucher and a $300 credit voucher, can I use them to book a $500 flight?

Thanks,

I don't believe either of those things is possible through the website, but you may be able to do it over the phone.

Thanks Opusman.

Has anyone had any luck doing either of these over the phone?

would be interested in this as well, as i had to cancel a JASA last minute today and got credit back instead, which was disappointing, as i really just wanted my points back....

You should ring and insist on getting points refunded.

Sorry for bringing an old thread back to life, but I have the same 2 questions as the OP which haven't really been answered.

Anyone know if one or either of these uses is possible for credit vouchers?

Thanks!

The answer is no and no AFAIK.

I think the terms are specified on the voucher. I have one that I should have used for taxes and surcharges on a recent award booking - and that specifies it can be used for taxes and surcharges and travel on any QF/JQ flight. I have had others which specifically could not be used for taxes and surcharges. Why don't you just call QF to make the booking?

Thought this would probably be the case.

Yep, will be calling them as soon as I've worked out exactly what changes to my trip I want to make (dates & locations). Guess I'm just trying to think of some creative ways to use the credit I'll get if I cancel my existing booking.

I'll post back with some confirmed answers if/when I have them.

Thanks!

Have tried and failed in both circumstances, unfortunately.

(I also think QF should allow both)
