Hi all,
If you’re flying with the airline Volotea make sure to check in online (from 4 days prior up to 2.5 hours before your flight) otherwise you will get stung €30 EACH at the check in desk for what takes them all of 10 seconds. This is very deliberately hidden in the fine print.
See the images below:
The confirmation email has a heap of cough in it including “travel tips” but if you get to the bottom it says “please remember…” then (on Gmail at least, not sure about other email apps - but it seems bloody convenient for them) you have to click on view entire message. Then it opens up a web page and once you scroll down through the entire email again there it is in the fine print. No asterisk or anything near where you can click on get your boarding pass at the top of the email.
I will now be checking in online for every flight I ever take! Probably amateur hour move to not check in online but this is the first time I’ve ever been charged to check in let alone 100 bucks!
