Thinking of getting a third phone, on a prepaid Vodafone Aust Sim.
Optus and Telstra both prepaid Sims won't link to any NZ networks.
Had bought and put in roaming packs, turned roaming on, in NZ...
And no link with either phones, all X!
Using hotel wifi ATM, and know it's a dangerous process but had to be done.
Any colleague on here with Vodafone Aust and come to NZ regularly in roaming, dies your connection work as soon as you turn phone on?
Buying a travel Sim I think is not environmentally ok, as have to toss it out.

That's strange. I travel to NZ quite frequently and never had issues with roaming even on Prepaid SIM cards from Australia. Any chance you disabled roaming on the Vodafone website? That's the only thing I can think of.

Is your phone eSIM capable? Plenty of options to add a roaming service.

I am not with Voda yet.
Thinking about it.
Aye, esim would be my next choice.
My 2nd phone is 3g and Telstra is shutting that off soon.
Will think about an oppo esim capable phone or go with Voda.
I have double checked I have got roaming credit with Optus and Telstra phone, and roaming turned on.
Never mind, whats a recharge gone down the loo, NZ is a great place to be.
Will be back now borders are opened, we have so many commonities, plugs, 240v, etc.
Thanks to you both.
Back in Aust tomorrow anyway.
