Using the bonus rates, at ~1.61 cpp that works out to ~$1,288 AUD for two passengers on a Med cruise! There are several interesting itineraries being offered from Barcelona and Athens. I’d definitely go on one of these cruises if my plans weren’t already fixed.

There aren’t any VS bonus miles promos right now but at full price this deal is still worthwhile. An alternative is to transfer Amex MR points to VS, or even transfer chain hotel points (poor value). And I believe some credit cards and banks are also offering 15-20% bonus for the month of May.
