Virgin Lounge with Complimentary Amex Platinum

Hi,

Does any one know if complimentary card holders of AMEX platinum can successfully use the Virgin domestic lounge in Syd and Melb?

AMEX said they can't but I wonder if Virgin checks.

My wife has gained access as a supplementary card holder before. No harm in trying, just show the card but don’t say it’s a supp.

Yep m, never any probs. Official T&Cs of course is primary card only so it may be enforced one day.

Not likely - unless you tell them, there is no way for the lounge to tell the difference between a supplementary and primary card.
