A question most likely for Yada Yada or crazydave, but also anyone else in the know, any whispers of whether Virgin Blue is looking at introducing a business or premium economy class?
I did ask if they might consider 2+2 seating with extra legroom at the front. Brett Godfrey said it is something they have thought about and continue to think about. So nothing firm planned yet.

No, but I'd be open to it!

To be honest, alot of people on here thought you worked for Virgin or their PR agency already - myself included. I assume thats a no then!

Could say the same thing about a few people here and Qantas!

Yada Yada is obviously a satisfied and content DJ customer. And I think its great to have his input that includes passion and enthusiasm for a company that he believes delivers a good product. Diversity of experience is a wonder thing for a community like this. Perhaps we will see Yada Yada featuring in the next Virgin Blue commercial .

Seriously?

I work for an American company that manufactures architectural building products. I have no connection with the airline industry, aside from paying them to take me places for business.

Most of my domestic flying is done with Virgin Blue simply because I feel they have the better product - their service is better and more consistent, they are on time more often, their planes are newer on the routes I fly, and I can purchase reasonably priced fares at short notice.

However I do still fly on QF, mostly international flights although I also take some domestic flights when the schedule suits me better. I am still QFF Gold and requalified for 2007 after only 4 months into my FF year.

I've flown both airlines enough to know that many of the derisory comments about Virgin Blue here on AFF are untrue, so I challenge them. :D

Yes - seriously, me and quite a few others...! :p Thanks for clearing it up though, I believe you, I don't think it would be DJ's style to have a mole on the board.....

It wasn't your steadfast support of anything DJ touches that had some people wondering, more the fact that it was combined with posting even the slightly negative articles about QF Group (and conversely missing all the negative DJ ones) - and that combination lead to ppl assuming you were working for them or their agencies - spreading bad news about QF along with pushing DJ.

I'm actually a supporter of DJ, (not as an airline I would fly because after a few poor experiences I do not use them anymore ) but because they provide a much needed element of competition in OZ.

Haha do you think QF even know about this site? ;)

Sometimes I think they, like most companies are very out of step with what their high value customers want...

Yes, there are several senior people at QF that know about (and read) this board.

Haha unless he is an out of work washed up soapie star then prob not:cool: (a la the ex-All Saints guy DJ used in their latest ad). I think Yada Yada would charge more and blow their budget!:D

I wonder if that's why I always get row 46 or worse on the old 767's?

At 45, I'm too old to be used in a DJ advertisement! ;)

I will not keep getting row #1 B or #1 C for nothing extra if they do that. :)
