Just wanted to share a good Virgin story.
I booked two flights for 3 people a few months ago - Mel to Syd flying this Sat and returning this Sun.
However today I realized that I booked both flights Mel to Syd (sat and sun).

Called Virgin
It’s only took 5 minutes to get a consultant
They priced up the change Syd to Mel
$110 ticket diff and $90 change fee (per ticket - 3 tickets)
It was my mistake with the booking but I asked if they can waive the change fee. After a bit of typing the consultant waived the change fee and I was only charged the ticket difference.

Obviously good result and professional service.
I was surprised that I only waited for 5 minutes to talk to someone... opposed to Qantas which took 1.5hrs about 6 months ago.

one thing virgin do is answer the phone quickly, in my experience anyway. last time i got an upgrade they stuffed up my ticket, when i realised i called them back and the manager actually gave me a free syd - melb fare for free for the mistake. i have always found them excellent to deal with.
