Hi,
I have a $1850 credit with Virgin as I cancelled my Coco's Island flights. I have plenty of time to use the credit, however, it just doesn't work with anything I want to do in the way of travel over next 18 months.
I have 150,000 QF FF points, and really want to go to the Seycelles or Mauritius for a holiday.... by either using my points and the credit voucher, and a small amount of cash, and not in economy if possible.
I am wrecking my brain trying to find a way to wangle this as affordably as possible.
Was thinking Virgin to Perth, then paying Air mauritius leg, then don't really want to come back the same directions.... I think the whole exercise is just about impossible.

Can you use the voucher flying on one of Virgin's partner airlines such as Etihad eg MEL/AUH/JNB or CPT return then purchase a return side trip from there to Mauritius or the Seychelles?

SQ should come online soon, maybe in the right booking window for you, that will give you some serious options if you can use the voucher!

If it's going to be really difficult, you could always sell it. Have seen a few on eBay before that sell for quite close to their value.

Or, while you can't offer it for sale on here as a rule, you never know, someone may offer to buy it off you for their upcoming flights.
(Not implying I could be that person, sorry)
