Virgin Blue Seat Selector?

Hi everyone

I am a new member to the boards so I apologise if this thread has already been made.

I recently booked a domestic flight with Virgin Blue. On the 'Manage Your Booking' page, I am unable to find anything which relates to selecting your seat. I generally fly Qantas so I am unfarmiliar with how virgin blue go about giving their customers the option of seat selector.

Perhaps seat selector opens 24 hours prior to flying? This would probably make more sense.

Yes, it opens with OLCI - 24 hours before flying. The sooner you get in the better your options.

I'm DJ Gold so i get prime picks. But you should have no prob getting a window if you aim to check in the best part of 24 hours before.

As a Gold do you also have to wait until 24-before, or can you get in sooner?

Can't say i've tried to get in sooner. It opens when OLCI opens so i do it then. Golds get first few rows reserved though.

Good to know, do you know (if you’ve travelled them) if Pacific Blue is the same?

Haven't flown Pac Blue since the new reservation system came in so i can't help you there. I presume it's the same but i don't know.
