The AFL24 might have a 21-day rule in play or similar. Yes it is common for codes but it's not described in the T&Cs for this one.

I can't get it to work on several dates within the promo period, and less than three weeks away.

Just tried all EXZ28, JKZ34, AFL24, MCU43 for Perth to Darwin on 7 June. Nothing.
Economy only.

Can you believe there is no business on this route ever, and No longer Adelaide to Darwin either.
I can't maintain my Platinum and keeping Gold is going to be tricky with only 30 scs for a flex.
Have got a 200 sc new credit card for this year til feb25 but after that???

Qantas is the same. No Biz. Both only Perth via MEL, BRIS or SYD for Biz. How crazy is this.

Cashrewards - I used that, got ~4% back (well takes 95+days is all, so have to wait for confirmation). Anyone else use such programs? even tho it says 1% on the Cashrewards website?

Yes, use Cashrewards and Shopback for lots of purchases.
Last year, Expedia had 14% cashback on accommodation - I ended up getting about $1500 cashback from one trip.

However, I don't often use them for clicking through to Virgin site as we book through the Virgin Business Portal.

Worked for me MEL-NAN in November

Not sure VA is worth $500 for a MEL-NAN flight but it has better flight times that FJ
