Virgin Australia Pre-AFL "LA" party

Received an invite from Virgin Australia to an Pre-AFL "LA" party.

Email said it was sent out to selected Platinum members but didn't have much event details.
When I replied, my details were passed onto the AFL for ticketing...

Did anyone else receive it or have any extra details?

I think that was "R" rated wasn't it? I would have been too young to see it, but I heard that Pete O'Toole gave a Lawrence-like performance too.
I am sure that Caligula, Mal, Pete would love an AFL invite.

Duno what iv done wrong to VA, never seem to get a invite with them for anything, and I'm sitting on 1700 status credits for the year so far.

I am on 2200 in 4 months & MrsF will crack 4100 this week after 9 months.
We can't even get our points & SCs to post correctly, let alone get an invite to a function......

I suspect that's helped them narrow it down a bit.

I haven't been receiving emails for months. I emailed Velocity a couple of days ago and asked them to ensure that I am receiving emails in the future. They responded yesterday saying that I am registered but I will have to just wait and see whether it works.

Yeah plat with partner gold and 1700 status with 9 months gone. Understand it's a bit of luck to be picked but never seem to get the chance to go.
Anyways hope all who get to go enjoy it.

Sounded like a great theory but sadly does not seem to be correct.

I also fit the Victorian (not to far from Melbourne), Platinum and interested in AFL but nothing either.

I think i'm going to have to skip the actual event though -- it's later and more elaborate that i can manage i think.
