Virgin Australia 777 Seat Selection

26C isn't a bad seat. I had 26D LAX-SYD a couple of weeks ago, and there was plenty of room even with the bulkhead, but C has nothing in front.
On the plane I had 26A had no recline though, and I think the bloke in that seat got bumped up to another class as he was nowhere to be seen a few hours in.

I didn't find the proximity to the toilets to be bothersome at all, especially with a nice set of noise cancelling headphones... Also had an outstanding FA, definitely made it a memorable flight!

Your comments regarding 26A had me a little worried, as I have 26A booked SYD-LAX in early Aug and LAX-MEL early Sep! I called Virgin to check and was advised that all exit row seats definitely recline, so it must have been a broken seat.

Hi all, I've high jacked this thread as I have a question re 777 seat selection. I'm flying to LAX on Monday, and up until now I have been able to select my seats in Y. Just logged into the website now and the page now says that seat selection is not available for this flight... Any idea what the hell that means? I had selected 22C, but now its greyed out. I'm sure there is a simple reason, but I have never flown VA outside of Australia - even though I am WP.

Thanks!
