Hi Aust FF community, long time lurker here:lol::lol:

I am wondering if anyone has experience with Virgin Aust long haul and transfers/connections, specifically around how points/sc are awarded. I have searched the forums and understand the sectors tally individually. Though the whole PE for part of journey and then Economy for the next leg baffles me re: trying to preempt my SC/points.

I have an upcoming flight to LHR from MEL, with stops via SYD & AUH. I understand the cabin class I will be traveling in in economy for all sectors except SYD-AUH, though the fare class I purchased was the 'Predium Deal'. Hence my question, for the points/SC does this go by fare or cabin class?

To add to the mix, I recently did a status run just to get Gold and also fall into the latest Velocity double points promo ith my travel dates - yay!
