Not really travel news, but interesting anyway. This afternoon the newest Virgin A330 will meet up with a B737 and possibly fly into Sydney in formation (maybe parralell runways for a landing at the same time?).

WIll be an interesting sight if anyone is in Sydney this afternoon. Additionally I hope they put the footage on the news tonight!

Based on grapevine information, the next 2-4 hours. I will see if I can get more specific information.

Edit: It's either today or scheduled for Wednesday afternoon to co-incide with Virgin's press conference at the airport.

I’d imagine it’d make more sense on Wednesday… especially if they’re expected to be in the new livery and not mismatched ;)
