I am arranging a conference for our customers to be held in Nha Trang Vietnam later this year.

I've flown from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City before on Vietnam Airlines but has anyone done domestic flying? We have a one hour flight from SGN to CXR (Nha Trang).

Does anyone know of any airlines to stay away from within Vietnam?

I can can see that Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and VietJet Air.

Cheers

Viet Nam Airlines. Business class. Totally the way to go for expedited everything... check-in, lounge access, separate bus to the plane, wide seats and spacious cabin.

Agree

And a great tip from my recent trip there is to pay a little extra for the "expedited" visa if you plan on getting it on arrival.
There was a massive queue, but by pre-paying I think $14 extra there was a guy waiting with a sign and he took my passport and wormed his way right through the queue to the window and I'm sure it saved me half an hour

unfortunately work is is paying and won't cough up for J. I will need to see how much extra the upgrade is closer the time. Thanks

Stick with Vietnam airlines. Jetstar was constant delays and canceled flights for us. The one flight we did with Vietnam airlines was great, even got exit row seats without asking.

+ for VN Airlines

But whatever airlines you choose in the end, flight delays are part of the journey !

Very common and rarely you would hear an explanation from anyone.

Don't count on flight arrival time to start the meeting.

Agree with all of the above. I have flown around Vietnam and always go on Vietnam Air. Have upgraded at the airport for a small amount to J or just book it outright. They have nice new Airbus A321 (I think).

Yes Vietnam Air, not Jetstar.

I flew Jetstar from Hoi An to Hanoi and it was chaos. I was surprised there weren't chickens running freely around the plane.
