Vietnam online arrival declaration from 15 Apr 2026

With all things Vietnam and visas/customs there is very little official information in English at the moment and a heap of pages from companies who may try to extract fees for something that is free.

I have found that Vietnam are requiring pre arrival declaration documents in addition to the usual visa for international travellers and this was put in place on 15 April 2026

VN Airlines has this info: Travel Documents - Visa Requirement | Vietnam Airlines

There is an online portal in the gov.vn domain which should be the correct one here:

No idea on the experience when arriving as I don’t have travel there for a bit.
