Apparently they are due to commence flights to Munich from both Hanoi - twice weekly - and Saigon - once weekly initially and then twice weekly from December - in October this year. This will mean they will have four European destinations - London, Paris, Frankfurt & Munich. I can't see a press release on their site about this but direct flights are loaded on their bookings page.

They have some great sales fares from time to time and I find their product to be pretty decent. Good to see some new routes

On some random dates they are about $2,000 - $5,000 cheaper than most others to Europe from Perth in J but have an extremely long connection time in Saigon. You would probably be better off spending a couple of days there. They are one of the few airlines that offer a Premium Economy seat out of Perth.

The only one I could see that was very close in price for a one-stop flight was Air Mauritius.

Plenty of worse places in the world to spend a couple of days in. With those long connection times I’d definitely head into town for a couple of days
