Very limited catering on QF out of MEL on 18 Jul 2016

Apparently 10 catering trucks out of action today. QF422 which I was on had very limited catering. Drinks in Y and granola in J. Mondayitis? Industrial action?

I wonder if QF93 will get catering for their ultra long flight.


Boarding passes can be used in terminal for up to $20 credit today.

Presumably the $20 could only be used in MEL? Not bad value (better value and choice than most J meals)! But not much use if you arrive too late or didn't know about the offer.

The offer was announced by the CSM but no use to those with tight connections. As its a boarding pass specific I would imagine MEL specific. Agree that it would be better than Q catering
