Hi

Note Elevate is the Virgin America reward system.

I am heading to the US early next year so starting to plan it all out.

As a Platinum Velocity member, I looked at the Virgin US and whilst I get the usual check in and priority bags, the Velocity site does not state anything about x number of free baggage for Virgin America flights.

Anyone know if you get free bags or would i need to pay extra for that? The flights will be internal US flights so I can't seem to book them thru Virgin AU and I can't see any info on the Virgin US sites about a Status Match.

Cheers
Steve

I don't know about economy benefits but I will say keep an eye out for their first pricing/sales as we got a couple of first sectors for approx. $30pp more than Y and it included baggage and well... first seating.

Really enjoyed flying VX.

I thought the thread title meant Velocity was going to make it more difficult to attain status!!

likewise (had a visual image of 2 two tall VA FA's raising the elusive bar higher in the Olympic stadium {as RB's gold helicopter touched down near the marshalling area}).

We flew Seattle>San Fran and about a week later, San Fran>LAX.

Im OK with Delta but after these flights, will be looking at VX in future for our US flights.

Yeah VX is pretty cough in terms of benefits from Velocity. I usually fly DL because of this.
