Hi all,

Looking for some guidance with a Qatar redemption through Velocity.

A few days ago I could search and select a Sharjah (SHJ) → Rome FCO itinerary via Doha on the Velocity site/app. It showed up as one through award. Now that option has disappeared — the site doesn’t even let me pick Rome as a destination from SHJ anymore.
  • Both SHJ–DOH and DOH–FCO still show individually as reward seats in Velocity.
  • On Qatar Privilege Club, the full SHJ → DOH → FCO routing still appears as a single award
  • Velocity just won’t display it as one ticket anymore.
Is it just a temporary glitch in Velocity’s mapping of city pairs, or has something changed?

Thanks

I had a similar issue with SIN-HAM. When I looked on Seats.aero I could booked that route via the Seats.aero link. However if I used the Virgin website I couldn't. I just checked on Seats.aero and that is the same issue with you. My plans changed, so in the end I didn't book SIN-HAM however I think it is worth a phone call to Virgin call cnetre and see if they can book it for you. I'm guessing they will and they shouldn't charge you a fee.

Not sure why it might've disappeared in the last few days but you should be able to edit the URL (and then pasting it to a new tab) to manually search.

If the site lets you search SHJ-DOH, change "&destination=DOH" to FCO in the URL, copy this to a new tab and search with the modified URL
