Velocity Points Transfers to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer

Aha, I didn't see it because my screen was quite large, I downsized it, and its there,
My Velocity, my activity, etc.
Link & transfer is #5.
Mine always only showed 4!
Ta Must...fly.
Edit: 100/100.
Transfer rate is 0.6452.

KrisFlyer also offers additional award seats as “Advantage” awards to its own members, which are generally available on more flights but cost more KrisFlyer miles.

Advantage Awards also have a free stopover available, where applicable, allowing you to break up the journey AU-SIN-EU for instance - or maybe FRA on the way to NYC and NRT heading to LAX.

It's a shame there's been no special points transfer offers between VA-SQ though - 1.55:1 is not ideal (or as I like to think about it 3.1:1 FlyBuys to KrisFlyer)

When I thought VA was about to go under a few years ago I transferred a couple of hundred thousand points to SQ, with the history of Ansett ringing in my ears. I never actually lost any points with Ansett as I flew QF only back then but a lot of colleagues did and didn't stop complaining for the next ten years.
Just back from a Singapore Airlines trip to Europe and it was all credited to my KrisFlyer account. A lousy number of points but of course I can convert them back to Velocity now! Except the terrible conversion rate is the same in both directions. Foolish me thought it might be better the other way as SQ miles are "worth more"... Oh well I live and don't learn.

It's also possible the transfer program days could be numbered with the upcoming IPO and the possibility that VA's other part owner QR could install a Velocity / Avios transfer in its place post IPO*

*Not actually confirmed, but a speculation viewpoint.

How interesting would that be. Being able to fly and credit to VA and using points to book QF as a VFF via avios.
