hi all
thinking about taking VX LAX-MCO in First. main reason for this is family pooling of SC and I just wanted to make sure I had my ducks lined up before i take the plunge. I assume, so long as I have family pooling set up on my wife's, and son's Velocity account, that when the points & SC get credited from VX these will goto my Velocity account. We were going to go First as a bit of a luxury for a fairly long flight and then I would earn 80 SC ( i think) for each. I think this costing approx $US1500 for the three of us. AA is about $200 less. from what I understand from reading, VX First seems to be rated as one of the best Domestic first's in USA. that plus the benefit of pooling is tipping me to pay the extra $$. I would have gone MCO-DFW also with VX but they don't fly direct.
anyway was just wanted to confirm my understanding was correct as wouldnt liek to get that wrong and then not get the SC family pooling. appreciate any advice.
cheers
