Velocity/Delta Points Reciprocity

Hi Everyone

I know Velocity and Delta have a points agreement, but does anyone know if the Velocity agreement extends to both Delta US domestic flights and Delta international flights to and from Mexico?

The information on their sites only goes so deep. . . .

Are you talking about earning or burning points?

Earning: Definitely extends to US domestic flights i can say from experience. AFAIK i can't see any reason Mexico would be excluded.

Burning: I am not sure it's easy to find availability on Delta but theoretically it should be the same.

Became more concerned when I saw another user here earnt SkyMiles instead of Velocity ones. However I think they inadvertently signed up for the SM program and from memory I entered my Velocity number when buying Delta seats.

Shoudl be no reason why Mexico is not included.

A velocity member can earn on ALL Delta marketed and operated flights , however they do codeshare on Aeromexico to Mexico and these flights are not valid for Velocity.
