Velocity 20% bonus - offered last year, again this year ??

Hi everyone,

Some time last year Virgin Velocity offered a 20% bonus for transferring your points over from your credit card (Am Ex etc) - anyone care to speculate if/when this may happen again ?

Broad question, I know - but I have a heap of points sitting in Am Ex and knowing my luck the offer will pop up again the day after I arrange to transfer them across !

I had a look at my account and I transferred from CBA Awards with a Velocity Rewards bonus in Feb 09, April 09 and Nov 2010.

I don't think I took advantage of all the bonus offer periods, but it appears there isn't an obvious pattern to it.

I'm hoping for a massive promotion after the program's relaunch

From time to time we do have special promotions with the banks, but nothing I can tell you about right now!
