Try book them as single 1 way fares, you will get around $2k each way. Those are not true one way fares, they're part of a return flight.

That's for a RETURN trip. Try booking the exact same dates as a one way. $2000+. That's what VA is offereing that Qantas isn't.

i really hope this takes off.

to be able to get a full service airline where the o/w ticket was half the return ticket. PERFECT :mrgreen:

Could also come in handy if you had some FF points that get u only o/w with QF and then pay to get back with VAust.

I'd definitely travel with them again if I head over to the USA next yr n can get their PE for 2K again
