Varying (Decreasing?) Levels of Service at the MEL/SYD First Lounges

Re: MEL First lounge joins PER RSA push

In F lounge at the moment and breakfast (while lovely as usual) had a few issues with Mr FM's order slightly wrong and no bubbly until meal finished (in spite of gently asking for it a few times). I took the glass and Mr FM and I retreated to the lounge area near the spa. All was redeemed there with a lovely lady (wish I could see her name tag, without obviously peering at it), who is looking after everyone in the area absolutely impeccably and even walking around with a bottle of Moët offering refills. So from my perspective a very happy F lounge visit.

Ok I wasn't subtle I asked her - Dubravka - just lovely.

Re: MEL First lounge joins PER RSA push

re drink coming post meal I had a similar experience which puzzled me somewhat.

In SYD F lounge a few weeks back I sat at table and staff promptly appeared and provided a menu and asked if I'd like a drink. All good. I asked for a juice and a coffee. Now, my assumption was that the juice would arrive fairly promptly and the coffee a little later after it's made. Well no, there was quite a wait and I was about to enquire about my drink order (by this stage I had ordered breakfast and was expecting that to show up.. maybe 10-15min) and suddenly the coffee AND the juice shows up.

It's not a MAJOR thing by any means, but it did puzzle me somewhat.

oh for those that wondered I passed on the bubbles as I was boarding EK and wanted to wait for the Dom :D
