VA50: all toilets inoperable

Those issues at the beginning have likely made them one of the safest aircraft to fly on currently.
Take a look at how many are in the air on a daily basis, worldwide, without incident.
That argument was holding and the main narrative until Alaskan happened and the investigations following showed Boeing didn't truly improve their processes that much in those years despite all the issues.

Flying JL today and they have announcement about not putting anything down the toilets except TP, and say if a toilet gets blocked they will have to divert the aircraft.

I have met many veterans of Bomber Command, some say that when the "toilet", (basically a tin bucket with a lid) was used especially for a number 2, they would simply empty it out over Germany.

A similar story was one guy's girlfriend made him a cake to take back for his crew. They took it on a mission and the first bloke had a piece, YUK, there was something wrong with it.
So they put it back in the tin and threw that out the window as well. If it didnt hit somebody in the head and kill them outright they thought it would later if someone ate it!

Currently on the exact same plane that had the inoperable toilets, but luckily it's just SYD-BNE

Edit: no one seemed to use the Business Class toilet. The WiFi wasn't working, even for IFE

I pick the Max on purpose when I can, I really enjoy flying on them. They have that new aircraft smell and the overhead bins are fantastic. Perhaps I am the odd one out?
