Yes that Christchurch comment made me look twice! I was on VA2 a week ago but didn't know I could have gone on to CHC!

Well it sounds like they interviewed a CHC resident and assumed the flight was headed there. Shoddy journalism at best.

Even the news on the radio announced it as a flight from LA to NZ via Sydney.
