VA wifi trial Nov 2025 - free messaging

I think if they want to market themselves as middle market they need to start to differentiate more from being what I see them as, which is a low cost carrier.

I actually find their WiFi pretty useless the times I've flown. I like to know where I am and what I'm seeing out the window and can only get flight radar to load 1/3 of the time, I usually give up.
Disagree on that one, speeds/ping is so much better than Qantas and because most people don't pay I usually get speeds of 40-50mbps sometimes higher.

Before VA try this offering, they should focus on their current WiFi working consistently for their Platinum members.
I was on a flight to Perth and even though it supposed to be WiFi enabled it wasn't working the entire flight - very annoying!
