VA to QR interline agreement?

Based on Expertflyer, it looks like VA does not have an interline agreement with QR (if I've understood correctly what I read). How does that impact trips on a single PNR with VA domestic connecting to QR international in Perth (BNE - PERx - DOHx - onwards)? Would VA be able to issue boarding passes through to the final destination, how about checking the bags through?

According to Expert Flyer, QR does have an interline agreement with VA. So you may be in luck.

Booking probably via an online TA. When I heard of the plan from a friend, including a 90 min outbound connection in Perth, it was time to check what they should expect so they are prepared (yes, falling into the rabbit hole of being others with their flights ).

That caught my eye, too. What would be the real-life implication of this?
Or simply, can VA check them through, both passengers and bags?

Last year I booked a Qatar flight from Hobart to Moscow return. The first leg HBA-MEL was operated by Virgin and they checked my bags all the way thorough and ticketed the flights. It was an easy connection.

One thing to bear in mind...I made the error of assigning my flight to Velocity in Hobart, but not changing it to Qantas before I boarded the Qatar plane in Melbourne. I got velocity points for the domestic legs, but of course I couldn’t for the others and they wouldn’t allow me to assign them afterwards.

I can confirm VA will through check to QR if it's all ticketed on the same PNR.
