Any experience with the Velocity Points Status bonus earn rate on the VA operated and crewed, EY marketed, EY411 KUL-AUH on Sundays?
(VA/Etihad "Pearl")
Specifically, could I expect to earn 100% base points status bonus (VA operated) on the "Pearl" as a VA Plat, or, 50% base points status bonus for an EY flight?
Cheers, PJ

Thanks serfty. So, this flight earns as an EY flight for a VA/WP, not as a VA flight, although it is operated by VA and crewed by VA?

it operates as a EY "wet lease" flight , so will be treated as EY flight for earning.

Thanks williamsf1. I learn a lot from AFFs. I hadn't heard before about "wet leases". On this basis, I suppose this flight can't be considered as an eligible VA sector for requalifying as VA WP either?

No, for all intents and purposes its an EY flight, and surprisingly many don't preselected the PE seats if in Y because they are not used to having PE.
