On a LAX-BNE flight a couple of years ago the male flight crew all used the ladies loo...this set the tone for some males in the J cabin

Male crew used it when I flew, but the males in the cabin were not silly enough to take the risk given the number of females in the cabin...

What a great T.R. and exactly matches the type of experience I have had each time flying VA J (LAX and AUH). There are always a few things that could be improved (non moving seats with tray extended numero uno!) but the consistently excellent FA's are always a standout. They seem to have found the perfect balance between professional and attentive service, mixed with a slightly more casual friendly manner that works for me.

I am one of the affected MEL-LAX travellers and have been re-routed through BNE on an points upgraded flight early next year. I must admit I was considering my options in the medium term but the new J seats just announced, along with the greater SQ points tie-in (depending on how generous the transfer rate), I think they'll keep my business.

WOW - what a difference in VA and QF post flt surveys:

VA - 100 questions seeking info on EVERY aspect of flt - and I mean EVERY aspect - like booking / check-in / lounge / boarding / cabin crew / flt crew / F & B / luggage services - EVERYTHING
QF - 3 questions.

What should I draw from this? - QF already know everything? - VA are sticky beaks?

Note: Posted in both TR threads I recently started.

Interesting Cruiser. I won't stop thinking they are dinky until I have a series of flights where I don't get bumped off or the plane I am supposed to fly on gets substituted. Trying to get Mrscove on board will be much harder but put my 2 sons and myself as maybes

cove;1122930. Even at home he will sneak a peak on AFF because he can. Sometimes an AFFer will be [B said:
viewed by their partner as a bit of a nutcase[/B] but then that same partner comes to expect the nicest seat on the plane.
Research beats a best guess most times so getting loo photos are all part of the package.

So glad I am not the only one. At least hubby knows the ritual - Friday night is my AFF newsletter night.
