Is business class on the E90 and 73H generally the same or is it noticeably different?

The seats are more or less the same, except that the configuration is 2-2 on the 737 and 1-2 on the E190. If travelling solo, the single "A" seats on the E190 can be nice.

As for meal service I haven't noticed any difference in quality / options between E90 or 73H.

Thanks, I'm flying BNE-HBA later this month in business and the aircraft started as a 73H the went to E90 then went back to 73H so I was just making sure as it may change again.

A/C type might change again, again.. There are still 2 x 737s sitting around at cargo terml at HBA airport after they touched wingtips the other day.. Cant be helping VA's Xmas scheduling. Enjoy Tas when you do get here tho !

Maybe that's why there have been quite a few cancellations on the golden triangle this week... more than normal... plus is the VA plane that ran off the runway in Darwin back in action?

To be sure you keep a J seat, I'd be playing it safe and selecting any seats on the right, or 1 or 2A on the left. 2A is pick of the crop on both aircraft IMO :)
