VA International - Lounge Access in Sydney

Can someone please confirm lounge access in SYD international?

I'm travelling to Bali in May and I think the Velocity website is confirming that I can access the Koru lounge prior to departure in Sydney:

When I look at the Air NZ website I'm not so sure as it seems to be indicating if flying trans Tasman:

I presume you are going on a VA flight so the conditions on the VFF site apply. It's not a bad lounge - I was there in January. It's a long walk from Customs & security but a nice start to the trip.

Agreed about a nice start to the trip, but I do wonder what access rules (if any) will apply for VA Elites and J pax when the Etihad lounge is opened in Sydney. Can't recall if it was going to be a shared lounge, and if there was a 2014 eta?

I haven't seen/heard any firm opening date yet. It was still a construction site when I passed it in January.
