While the usual caveats apply - it's only one month's figures - VA has beaten QF for punctuality of arriving passenger aircraft in June 2015: http://bitre.gov.au/publications/ongoing/files/BITRE_OTP_Report_June_2015.pdf
The top three routes in numbers of passengers are MEL - SYD - MEL (a long way ahead of number two), SYD - BNE - SYD and MEL - BNE - MEL.
For flights from SYD to MEL (southbound), VA beat QF by 2.4 per cent with JQ being worst at 81 per cent. In the other direction (northbound), the difference in favour of VA flights being less than 15 minutes late arriving was more pronounced at 3.5 per cent (VA 93.8 per cent on time, QF 90.3 per cent.) JQ again was by far the worst at 78.1 per cent, an unacceptable performance.
From SYD to BNE 90.9 per cent of VA flights arrived 'on time' (including the 15 minute allowance referred to above) while for QF the figure was only 84.7 per cent, behind the less frequent TT (87.8 per cent) but ahead of stablemate JQ (76.7 per cent.) Southbound from BNE to SYD VA narrowly beat QF with JQ again by far the worst.
From MEL to BNE VA also won, with JQ behind the pack as JQ only had 75.5 per cent of its flights arriving 'on time' in the Sunshine State's capital. Southbound (BNE to MEL), QF beat VA but again JQ was the worst. This must be a particularly disappointing set of punctuality statistics for JQ, which now has to wear the ignominy (at least for this month) of being Australia's worst performing (in timekeeping terms) major domestic airline
