:) :)Hello, I am new here!! Glad to have found an Aussie flying forum!
Just some questions regarding the new V Australia.
I usually (the past 3 years) fly Air New Zealand Premium Economy (due to back surgery-nurses back at 23 yrs old! I need the extra room and recline). I have found Air New Zealand excellent in their PE and the food and service has always been very good and professional. This year we (my twin sister and I) are flying to LA with the new V Australia due to such a VAST difference in the Premium Econ price.....VA=$1900 and ANZ=$3700!! I in fact rang VA again after I booked just to DOUBLE CHECK the price was correct for the PE product. They said it was an introductory offer and on their web site the 'best deal' price for PE is in fact $4300!! SO, we got a very good deal!!!
Just wondering if anyone can tell me a bit about the inflight service?
I am having trouble finding ANY reviews on it as yet.
Do you get business class meal on plates/cutlery like Air New Zealand?
What is the food like and do you have a choice?
Are there fruit/cheese plates and liquers after dinner like ANZ?
Do you get an amenity kit?
Can you help yourself to the bar?
Is there a snack bar if you are peckish?
I really enjoy the flying part of my holiday, and am hoping that V Australia lives up to ANZ!
One more quick question...if our flight leaves at 11am (direct to LA 15 hrs) what meals will we get.....lunch and breakfast or dinner and breakfast?
Thanks everyone for your help!:D
