Well on QF2051 today taking off from MEL we did a left turn as usual heading for Bass Strait but then did a hard turn right and headed for ADL and rate of climb slowed.A little later a DJ jet went overhead heading east.We then made a long left turn and increased rate of climb. But it wasn't that close.

This incident now reported on The Aviation Herald
The report says there was no food poisoning and injuries to 4 pax and 4 FA's from turbulence, which were not serious enough for the Captain to divert
