Using Xmas voucher in conjunction with triple points

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the Xmas voucher offer (5 points per $) in conjunction with the triple point promotion Qantas sent out a couple of of weeks ago? ie buy the voucher, get 5 points per $ and use that voucher to book flights that falls under the conditions of the triple points offer?

I've read T&C of the triple point offer and can't see anywhere that you are not allowed to use voucher to pay for?

Not a problem.

If you have an old voucher (from last years promotion) could take convincing that you are entitled to triple points.

You may have to call and get the points added manually.

QF use the vouchers purchase date as the date of booking, not the date you book the flight

Yes, you can use vouchers to access promos like triple points. No phone calls required as the 5 points per $ purchase period (Started 1 Dec) is entirely within the triple points booking period (Started 30 Nov).

Old vouchers might be an issue, but then you didn't asked about those.
