For quite some time I have gone directly to the various hotels and booked with them
Currently trying to book accommodation in Seoul . Having tried three different hotels that I wanted with absolutely no success,I ventured back onto Booking.com
Actually have the hotel I want , decent price and not payable till I arrive or payable and totally refundable up to two days prior.
My question is , are these decent again ? I did occasionally used to use Booking. Language would definitely be a barrier in trying to book my hotel myself .

I’ve never had a problem with Booking.com and have used them plenty of times

I use au.hotels.com and booking regularly.

In fact I’m sitting in a hotel tonight booked through an aggregator because it was about 20% cheaper than through the hotels own site.

See I just don't get that .

@jase05 I used to use Booking a lot , then had a slight hiccup and then of course covid. So just doing a few ventures out and was wondering
Sounds like they are fine and the deal would work for me

Appreciate the responses

On Sunday I booked a resort in QLD for September and Hotel official website wanted $1544 for the 3 nights, payable up front.
Same room on Booking.com was $1181 payable at Hotel and free cancellation up to 14 days in advance. Booked it through Booking.com and received email confirmation direct from property about 5 minutes later followed by a further email from property with transport options, maps etc
