Using the QF Website for availability of reward flights

I am sure this question has been asked before, but rather than try and wade through this site to find anything, I will be cheeky and ask again.

Is there any easy way to find availability of reward flights on the QF site? It just drives me demented. Once upon a time you could see a month at a view calendar. I cannot find that anymore. The website is so painful especially as I am trying to find flights either somewhere in Oz to somewhere in Europe. Having to try and negotiate the website to do hundreds of searches of various city pairs in the hope of finding something is impossible. Tonight it just dropped me out for no reason after searching a few days on the first city pair.

The task - which is well nigh on impossible at this late stage - is to find a business class trip from Australia to UK/Europe, preferably April or May, but I am willing to be flexible with that. I have 600k of points to use, and have to fly Business due to DVT. I want to fly Qatar but that seems to be out of the question now with QF points and I don't have anywhere near the amount of Velocity points I would need.

I would try the One World round the world option, but I cannot see how to look at that on the QF site using points, and there is now too many posts to wade through in the thread on that subject here.

Would it be less stressful just to pay the cost and use the flight finding service here on AFF and hope they could help me??

Surely there has to be easier ways to do this in this day and age, and places to find availability.

Sorry for the whinge but my frustration with QF is getting the better of me particularly as I hate them with a passion.

Thank you.

“Multi-city” search will show the monthly view most of the time.

You don’t have to enter a multi-city search. You can still do A to B searches.

Make sure you select “Use points…” and check “Flexible with dates…” when entering date(s).

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Also check the “where can I go” page. Enter the period you want, one way, business, classic rewards and it will show you all available tickets to anywhere from your origin city.

It is buggy, and frustrating, but it found me a 1st class ticket to Rome from Sydney in March (emirates) and a business class ticket back from Helsinki to Bangkok in April (Finnair)

As @SYD said above. This will show calendar view. China Eastern has plenty of availability in April. I sampled BNE to CDG via PVG and lots of availability. Cost is 159,000 points one way + $275 in fees. There is also first availability from PVG to CDG. Also availability to LHR.
