Using SQ Krisflyer Miles

I really enjoy using Kris miles for international runs.
Very good article foreigner so thanks for posting it.

This is an interesting measure of redemption value:

Singapore Suites between Europe and Singapore is more expensive per hour of flying than between the U.S. and Singapore, at about 6500-7100 Singapore KrisFlyer miles per hour

How much lounge, F time do you get for miles redeemed. I took this into account in Australia by joining the A380F out of Melbourne instead of a mixed redemption J/F out of Brisbane. The F redemption to LAX via NRT has to be a pretty good band for points as well.

The worrying thing for me from this article is if lots of US based big spenders start leveraging all of their spending onto KF miles, then it will make it harder for us to redeem suites.

The redemption on UnitedBiz Hawaii to NYC would have to be good value at 30,000 miles.

Oceania to Oeania used to throw up some interesting routes but no longer seems to unfortunately!

A certain *A carrier got rid of a lot of their J cabins, making that award a lot harder to use.

11 of 12 Suites were taken on the run SIN to LHR so that little secret is out of the bag and no one from AFF.

Could also have been revenue passengers?

LHR-SIN is a market where they do reasonably well with F.

It is great value.
Have a few points left so I think we will keep using Suites.
The LHR Fast Pass worked well on arrival.

iirc, SQ runs 4x daily LHR services. J is always pack. Only other suites to europe is CDG/FRA?
