Hi Guys,

I have "recently" moved to the UK, but have circa 150,000 QFF points.

I can't find any Reward flights from London to America on the QFF website. However, if I search for Dublin to New York, it shows availability and offers me a route through London.

However, if I search on the Avios website, I can find dozens of acceptable flights - in all classes - often with 9+ seats available on BA.

Eg, Departing LHR 5 July (Business), Departing JFK 13 July (Economy).

Is it possible to ring up Qantas and ask to use QFF points to book this flight? Or is only what is on the Qantas website what I can book with my QFF points?

I am QFF Silver.

Cheers,

Showing plenty of seats in J too for me. Are you ticking the classic seats only box after you input LHR as a departures city?

Yes, you can most certainly ring QFF and ask them to nab the seats. QF only displays, on the website, redemption seats on certain airlines and from certain ports, not all oneworld airlines and all ports.

And make sure they don't charge you a service fee - what you want cannot be booked online.

The BA website is a good indication of what you should be able to book using QFF points. If you don't see it on the QF website (and as others have said you can't see everything on there) just call up the QFF service centre.
