Ok not withstanding I know we can't travel but does this affect business travellers who are getting exemptions to travel to USA ? USA do not travel
Yes I realise this could be a irrelevant question but just curious

Hasn't DFAT had a do no travel warning for every country since around March due to Covid? What's changed exactly?

I don’t know what it said for the USA prior to the Smartraveller link date of 30 October. But, if you could get Au approval to leave prior to that date well then you could travel. Actually, if you plug any country into Smart Traveler it says do not travel. So the question is what about travel insurance because people obviously are/were travelling.

That is what I was wondering. The update references possible civil unrest from the election ..wondering are they just adding reasons for USA ? Not that the ban to USA is likely to be one of the first rescinded .
