US Global Entry Program for Australian citizens [from 2025]

Probably an AusCheck thing. Teething issues and what not. 😭😭
I am gonna annoy them regularly until my application is approved 😂
So i just called Auscheck. They said my application will be reviewed. No timeline given of when it will be processed. I think i will contact my local federal MP about this. This is beyond frustrating.

Is anyone stuck at "Pending Review" on the Global Entry website? My AusCheck was completed over a week ago.
Yes, me. My check from Home Affairs Issuing Body was completed 7th Jan. But when i login it doesn't actually tell you anything.

And my TTP dashboard shows "Wait for conditional approval"

Where as others I know applied around same time/after and already have conditional approval.

I don't mind if it takes a bit longer but just not sure if something has gone wrong.... and I'm due to head to US early Feb.

I did my enrollment on arrival in Houston (IAH) last week. Very quick - the same officer did both my regular admission and the EOA, and for the EOA component she just asked me to confirm my address and then took my fingerprints. Email with final approval came through first thing the following morning. I added my Pass ID to my future bookings and TSA PreCheck was applied correctly for my domestic flight today. It finally happened!

I'll be attempting my EOA later this week: 🤞mine's as easy as yours (I got approved in the first tranche but haven't been able to return until now).

I don't think AusCheck is the issue. I just called them and as expected they said they completed mine on 7th Jan and sent it to TTP.

So next step is to call TTP I guess which I'm not holding my breath on getting anything from them.

I found this contact info

I recon I'm stuffed reading the website and it could be 12-24m for me :(

I had/have an SSN from when I worked in the US at the ski resorts many many years ago.. wonder if that is part of the complication... or maybe something to do with my USA credit cards..

AusCheck replied to my enquiry with a generic response. Still stuck on the TTP website as "Pending Review"!

Thank you for contacting AusCheck.

Your application for The Global Entry Program is completed.

The next step is AusCheck will tell the USCBP whether you have passed or failed the Australian background check.

The United States will then complete additional checks and an in-person interview to determine final eligibility for your Global Entry.

The United States is the sole approving authority for the Global Entry program.

For information about how the USCBP will process and assess your application visit

Global Entry | U.S. Customs and Border Protection

Thank you

Family Members Report on EoA at SFO:

He arrived during peak hours at International 'A' Gates (Same as QF) coming in from LHR on BA.
There is a separate line at the normal immigration area marked for Enrollment on Arrival and there was zero queues at all.

He went first to a CBP Officer who went through normal port of entry clearance questions (he faced none, CBP Officer simply asked if he was travelling for business) and then was asked to go to Booth 41 to write his name down on a clipboard and then take a seat and wait to be called up.

10 Minutes of waiting he was called up by a different CBP Officer on the same line and presented his drivers license, and UK/IE/IT/CH passports in addition to his AU passport. Questions was mostly confirming the travel history section and flipping through his AU passport and was questioned on the 7-8 Indonesia visa stamps. Other questions included confirming zero criminal history and the reasoning for Global Entry. The CBP Officer didnt look at the other passports or his drivers license.

All in all, CBP Officers were pretty kind during the process and joked of asking where was his American Passport.
