Looong time lurker and finally decided to join in on this forum.

Came across this article
Will U.S. Amex Platinum Cards Lose Lounge Perks Like Canada's?

I know Australian Amex Platinum misses out on perks compared to the ones from USA.

After reading the article, I was just thinking whether the Aus version of Amex plat will stay “stagnant” ( keeping outlined Aus perks as is) or whether there is a potential for it to “re-design” its perks with other terms and conditions?

We arguably have better perks in some aspects compared to the US version. For one - we don’t have spend requirements for guesting people into the lounges / have to pay a fee to guest them in.

Our supplemental cardholders also get practically all of the perks that our primary cardholders get for free - in the US that requires a $195 fee per user per year.
