Upstairs or Downstairs on 747 ?

I always go for upstairs - any isle seat. It has more of a private feel, and possibly an illusion of more personal service. Also I like to wander to the back and do stretching exercises. There's a rail at the top of the stairs that is just the right height for my foot.
